Watch UFC 182 for Free With SportsDevil Addon
Can’t wait to see if Jon “Bones” Jones can defend his light-heavyweight title against olympic wrestler Daniel Cormier at UFC 182? Don’t spend $50 buck on what could potentially be a boring ground and pound fight. Get Kodi (XBMC) and add-on plugin Sports Devil to watch UFC 182 Live and Free!
Follow These Steps: If you don’t already have Kodi (formerly XBMC) installed, you’ll need to do that first. If you already have Kodi or XBMC installed, skip to STEP 2.
STEP 1. Download the appropriate installation file, depending on your system, from http://kodi.tv/download/. Depending on your system, you will have different ways of installing Kodi. Follow the instructions in the corresponding wiki if you have any difficulty. It’s just like installing any other program for Mac’s and PC’s. For AppleTV’s, Android and Rasberry Pi, it get’s a little more challenging, but the wiki documentation walks you through everything.
STEP 2. Download SPORTS DEVIL Addon here. This is a .zip file and needs to remain zipped in order to install it. Some Macs and PC’s automatically unzip archived files when downloading to the default DOWNLOADS folder. I suggest you download to your Desktop. It will also be easier to navigate to when you install the add-on in KODI or XBMC.
STEP3. Launch KODI or XBMC if you haven’t already and navigate to System>Settings>Add-ons>Install from zip file
STEP4. Using the file browser that opens up on the right hand side, navigate to where you saved your sports devil zip file and click OK. Your plugin will install in a few seconds and you’ll see a small confirmation box open briefly in the bottom right hand corner of your window.
STEP 5. Click the Home button on the bottom of your window. Now navigate to Videos>Video Add-ons>Sports Devil
STEP 6. Once Sports Devil opens up navigate to Live Sports>FirstRowSports.ge>Boxing/WWE/UFC
I’ve personally found FirstRowSports.ge to have some of the best, reliable streams. However, I encourage you to try the other streaming services on there to get an idea of everything Sports Devil has to offer. VipBox.TV and WIZIWIG.TV are also very reliable sources, but it varies event to event.
At fight time, you’ll see a lot of different links once you’ve selected the event. If you find a good link to BTSports1 you’ve struck gold. Those tend to be reliable high quality streams. Some links won’t work, some will work but then keep buffering, others will just be very low quality. Don’t settle for the first stream unless it looks good to you. Chances are there’s a better stream out there, you just have to spend a few minutes and have a little patience, it is free after all.
Also, if you’re like me, you watch every single fight starting with UFC 182 early prelims. If you find a good BTSports1 stream, just stay tuned in for the whole event, you won’t have to switch streams. If you’re on a Fox Sports 1 stream or a UFC Fight Pass stream, you’ll have to find a new link at the end of each segment of the event, ie. Early Prelims, Preliminaries, Main card.
